Joe B. Shaw

Joe B. Shaw, Age 50, of Magnolia, passed away Tuesday evening, March 23, 2010, at his sister Juanita's home in Rootstown.
 
Born in Canton, a son of the late Joseph and Edith Christy Shaw, he was a life resident of the Magnolia-East Sparta area. 

He was a 1977 graduate of Sandy Valley High School and attended Stark State College.  Joe was employed as a color service technician for Fusion Ceramics, Inc. in Carrollton for six years and was previously employed by General Color, Inc.  He was a member of Canton Musicians Local Union and enjoyed playing the drums with several other musicians. 

He is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Susan and Andrew Weber, and Juanita Shaw, all of Rootstown; and four nephews and one niece, Michael, Matthew, and Mitchel Weber, and Dominic and Julia Ionno.

A celebration of Joe's life was held at his home in Magnolia March 27. Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia was in charge of arrangements.
