Steve G. Brancker

Steve G. Brancker, 82, of Amsterdam passed away Thursday morning, March 15, 2012, in Acuity Specialty Hospital in Steubenville.

Born Nov. 25, 1929, he was a son of Helen Petrosky Brancker of Amsterdam and the late Marco Brancker.

Along with his mother, Steve is survived by his companion, Trudy Hale of Amsterdam; three sons, Frank "Butch" Brancker of New Castle, PA, Steve Jr. (Diana) Brancker of Amsterdam, Gary Brancker of Amsterdam; two daughters, Veronica "Sissy" Chase of Amsterdam and Stephanie (Randy) Thompson of St. Cloud, FL; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Joy Shultz of Amsterdam; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his father he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and brother, Marco.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 19 at 11 a.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Amsterdam with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating.
