Clifford "Gene" Logan
Clifford "Gene" Logan, 78, of Sixth St., NW, Carrollton, died in Aultman Hospital Emergency Room, Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011.
Born Feb. 7, 1933, in Mansfield, he was a son of the late Gen. John A. and Anna Mae Hess Logan.
He was a Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a retired school bus driver for Carrollton Exempted School District and was a member of Church of Christ Christian Disciples of Carrollton.
He is survived by his wife, the former Martha Black; two sons, James and Brian, both of Carrollton; two daughters, Cathy and Linda; four grandchildren, Brandan (Nicole) of Akron, Kari of Phoenix, Dustin of Gallion, and Teaya of Carrollton; a great grandson, Jaden of Carrollton; two brothers, Harold and John, both of Mansfield; and two sisters, Esther and Joyce, both of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven in 1991; a brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m. in Church of Christ Christian Disciples on Moody Ave., Carrollton, with Rev. Mike Doak officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation will be Friday evening, 4-7 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton.
