Dale Eugene McLaughlin

Dale Eugene McLaughlin, age 75, of Canton passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 30, 2010, in Oakhill Manor Nursing Care in Louisville.

Born Sept. 26, 1934, in Carrollton, he was a son of the late William E. and Ada (Hendrix) McLaughlin.

He was a graduate of Carrollton High School class of 1953 and was in the Marine Corps for eight years during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of Carrollton United Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by one brother, Carl Dean and wife Mary McLaughlin of Lady Lakes, FL; two nephews, Doug and wife Marcia McLaughlin and their children, Ashley and Matt McLaughlin, all of North Canton, and Steve and wife Dena McLaughlin and their children, Taylor and Morgan McLaughlin, all of Massillon; one great nephew, Shawn McLaughlin, son of his late nephew, Chris McLaughlin; and his longtime friend, Kevin Hoffman of Canton.

He was preceded in death by an infant twin sister.

At Dale's request, his remains are to be cremated.  There are no services planned at this time.
