Stella M. Fagley
Stella M. Fagley, born Oct. 27, 1921 in Malvern, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, at Mid Michigan Medical Center in Midland, MI, of congestive heart failure at the age of 89.
Stella attended Malvern High School, graduating with honors in History in 1939. She worked at Triangle Novelty until her marriage to Walter S. Fagley, Jr., in 1946, and moved to Michigan when Walter graduated from The Ohio State University in 1948.
She lived in Oak Park, MI since 1953, and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. She was active in parish organizations, most recently as refreshments chairman and was a board member of the 50 Plus club for 35 years.
She is survived by her children, Marcia A. (Bill) Pratt of Rodney, MI, Kay E. (Merle) Robinson of Columbus, OH, Walter S. (Marti) Fagley, III of Willow Park, TX, and Diane M. (Jerry) Byrd of Knoxville, TN; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen (the late Joe) DePalmo of Canton; and brothers, Joe (Joanne) Musteric of Cumberland, MD, and the late Matt (Norma) Musteric and Johnny (Sara) Musteric, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter S. Fagley, Jr.
Services were held Jan. 29 at Our Lady of Fatima, Oak Park, MI. Interment was at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI. Arrangements by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak, MI.
