Theda Colleen Steinfeld

Theda Colleen Steinfeld, local resident of Claremore, OK, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, in Claremore, OK, at the age of 92 years. 

Born Dec. 6, 1917 in Coshocton, she was a daughter of Charles and Selma (North) Shaffer. 

Theda was married Oct. 25, 1975, in Las Vegas, NV, to Ralph Joseph Steinfeld.  She spent most of her working life as a homemaker, caring for her family.  She was a member of the Eastern Star.  Theda enjoyed a variety of pastimes including painting, sewing and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph J., of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and her husband John Wilson, of Owasso and Judith Allen and her husband James Huffman, of Keller, TX; 11grandchildren and

13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Marion James Maple; one brother, Orville Shaffer and her parents.

Private family services will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, CA, at a later date.  Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso, OK.
