George Wayne Campbell, Sr.

George Wayne Campbell, Sr., 73, of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at his home.

Born March 28, 1937, in Canton, he was the son of the late Harvey W. and Dorothy (Kill) Campbell.

He worked at TRW for 18 years and retired.  He also worked as a press operator for 11years at InkaPallet

He is survived by five daughters, Lana S. Rush and Rebecca A. (Gary) Nutter, both of Dalton, Barbara J. Kruprzak of Dover, Nancy Lynn Campbell and Melissa Bullock, both of Dennison; four sons, George W. (Bonnie) Campbell Jr. of Waynesburg, Larry W. (Joan) Campbell of Canton, Rocky A. (Jamie) Campbell of Magnolia, and Richard L. (Jennifer) Campbell of Bowerston; 22 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Hazel Newhouse of Canton; and two brothers, Ira Campbell of Carrollton and Harvey Campbell of Alliance and close friend, Evelyn H. Petrime of the home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, three half-sisters, one half-brother and a grandson, Matthew Maley.

Graveside services will be held Jan. 4 at 1 p.m. at Liberty Cemetery with Aultman Chaplain, Paul Rudy officiating.  Friends unable to attend may register online at www.bartleyfuneralhome.com.  Bartley Funeral Home of Minerva was in charge of arrangements.
