David Shotwell

David Shotwell, 62, of Raley Ave., Carrollton died Monday evening, Dec. 13, 2010, in Sunnyslope Nursing Home at Bowerston following an extended illness.

Born Sept. 21, 1948, in Canton, he was a son of the late Charles and Jessie Goodyear Shotwell.

He retired from Sun State Plastics of Canton and was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Carrollton.

He is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Dale) Bonifant of Shelbyville, TN; two grandchildren, David Moore and Toni Anthony; a great granddaughter, Marah Anthony; two sisters, Sandy Hawkins and Kitty Hawkins, both of Carrollton; and three brothers, Charles Ross Shotwell of Spring, TX, Kenny Dinger of Canal Fulton and Rick Lambert of Carrollton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara in 2006, and a sister, Dorothy Campbell.

Funeral services were held Dec. 17 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Carrollton.  Burial was in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.
