Jane C. Pariso

Jane C. Pariso, 89, formerly of Carrollton, passed away Thursday afternoon, Nov. 17, 2011, in Schoenbrunn Healthcare at New Philadelphia following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 9, 1922, in Wilson, OK, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Loriene Bain Taylor.

During World War II, she worked for Douglas Aircraft Company.  She retired from The Scio Pottery and was a member of Carrollton Baptist Temple.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Leslie) Stevens of New Philadelphia, and Pasty Barber of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Debbie Diaz, James Brown, Robert Brown and Tom Greening; 20 great grandchildren and a brother, Robert "Bob" Taylor of Skiatook, OK.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Cross, in 1954, and her second husband, John Pariso, in 1990.

Funeral services were held Nov. 21 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. David Powell officiating.  Burial followed in Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.
