Ann Welch Bright

Ann Welch Bright, formerly of Carrollton, passed away Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, in Canton Christian Home.

Born Oct. 4, 1922, in Czechoslovakia, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Sveda) Adams.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Carrollton and a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Thomas (Jean) Welch of Thorton, CO; a daughter, Joyce (Dan) Yost of Carrollton; a brother, George Adams of Houston, TX; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Willard Welch, whom she married July 9, 1940, and who passed away July 16, 1976; three brothers, John Adams, Bill Adams, and Mike Adams and two sisters, Mary Ann Barbosky and Veronica Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. in Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton with Chaplain Ron Iwanusa officiating.  Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour before time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
