Dorothy M. Miller

Dorothy M. MillerDorothy M. Miller, 85, of Waynesburg passed away Sunday morning Sept. 22, 2013, in Aultman Compassionate Care.

She was born in Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Marvin and Eveleen (Dooley) Boggess.  She resided in the East Sparta-Waynesburg area for over 50 years, previously residing in the Amsterdam-Carrollton area.

She was a member of Waynesburg Freewill Baptist Church, which was very important to her, and enjoyed playing piano for the church and also at home.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Pam Barstow of Magnolia, Linda and John Woodlock of Waynesburg, and Paula and Ronnie Hockenberry, of Malvern; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Florence and Joe McClosky of Carrollton, Juanita and David Guess of Amsterdam, and Maxine and Daryl Bowers of Plain City; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Paul J. Miller, who passed away Oct. 14, 1995; three brothers and one sister, Bob, Raymond, and Harley Boggess and Eileen Peterson; twin grandsons; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Sept. 27 in Waynesburg Freewill Baptist Church with Rev.
