C. Allen Colley

C. Allen Colley passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Born Sept. 13, 1933, in Akron, he was a son the late Charles and Jenny Colley.

Allen was a graduate of Mount Union College and was a California State Certified Electrical Contractor for 30 years. He was a fanatical sport fisherman and spent many summers chasing tuna off the coast of California and many winters catching marlin off the coast of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Allen retired to Florida 10 years ago.

He is survived by Norma, his wife of 55 years; his children Charles, Susan, Gary, Lisa, Todd, and Jenny; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Joy and Janice; a brother, Lawrence and several nieces and nephews. Allen wais greatly loved by his family and will be sadly missed.

A memorial service was held Sept. 2 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Doak officiating.
