Eleanor Jane Otto

Eleanor Jane Otto, 88, of Amsterdam died Tuesday evening, Aug. 16, 2011, in Great Trail Care Center in Minerva following an extended illness.

Born April 19, 1923, in Horning, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Elizabeth Pearson Prisbylla.

She was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Amsterdam.

She is survived by two sons, Fred (Sheri) Otto, Jr. of Amsterdam and Richard (Kathy) Otto of Selah, WA; a daughter, Maryanne (Richard) Ridzon of Malvern; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a brother, Walt (Sophie) Prisbylla of Amsterdam.

She is preceded in death by husband, Fredrick J. Otto, Sr., who passed away Dec. 24, 2000; four brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 19 at noon at Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home in Amsterdam.  Burial will follow in Ft. Steuben Estates in Wintersville.  Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service.
