Leona M. Ross

Leona M. Ross, 77, died Aug. 14 at Lynchburg Care Center in Lynchburg, TN.

She was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Flintstone, MD, to the late Thomas Aaron and Lottie Fletcher Imes. Mrs. Ross retired from the Scio Pottery Co, in Scio after 25 years of service. After moving to Tullahoma, TN, she was an employee of Holiday Marina and most recently was a dietary cook at Lynchburg Care Center. She was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed singing karaoke. She was also a huge fan of county music legend George Strait.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ellis, Bob and Tommy Imes and a sister, Mary Ruby Ohler.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Warren Patterson of Tullahoma, TN,; a grandson, Tony Patterson and his wife, Jennifer of Belvidere, TN; two great-granddaughters, Taylor Ashley Patterson and Ella Grace Patterson; a brother, George Imes, and a sister, Nina Strawser, both of Ohio.
