Mary L. Shetler

Mary L. Shetler, age 48, of Carrollton, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, in Akron City Hospital.

Born March 11, 1961, in Middlefield, Ohio to the late Levi Byler and Minnie (Fisher) (Byler) Parkman.

She was a housewife.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Paul Shetler whom she married June 10, 1980; two daughters, Leona (John) Detweiler and Marion (Ervin) Detweiler, both of Carrollton; three sons, LeRoy (Ericka) Shetler of Wisconsin, Mervin (Ruth) Shetler of Carrollton and Ivan (Viola) Shetler of Mechanicstown; two sisters, Katie (Melvin) Miller of Middlefield and Esther (Joe) Miller of Orwell; eight brothers, Dan (Esther) Byler, Ben (Nancy) Byler, Enos Byler, John (Ella) Byler, Bill (Nancy) Byler and

Levi (Laura) Byler, Jr., all of Middlefield, Joe (Susan) Byler of Sherman, NY, and Chester (Verna) Byler of West Farmington and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held June 24 in the Shetler family home in Carrollton with Eli Detweiler and Chris Fisher officiating. Burial followed in Rush Rd. Cemetery. Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva was in charge of arrangements.
