Norris Taylor Saltsman

Norris Taylor Saltsman, age 79, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

He was born July 28, 1931, and grew up in Carrollton, OH.  Norris graduated from Carrollton High School in 1949 and Ohio Northern University School of Pharmacy in 1957.  He and his bride moved to Boynton Beach in 1957.  He is truly loved by family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lora Saltsman; two daughters, Sheryl (George) Mayer of Allen, TX, and Sandra (Scott) Coxson of Lake Worth, FL; and one son, Roger (Leanne) Saltsman of N. Charleston, SC.   His favorite job was grandpa to his grandchildren, Will Mayer, Melissa Mayer, Callie Coxson, and Casie Coxson. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard R. (Shaughn) Saltsman, Carl A. (Ann) Saltsman, and Paul B. (Joan) Saltsman and close family.

He was preceded in death by Richard T. and Martha Rader Saltsman.

A celebration of life will be held July 4 at Tabor Lake. Contributions may be made to the Carroll County Historical Society.
