Joseph Easterday

Joseph Easterday, 36, of Sherrodsville died Saturday June 6, 2009.

Born Aug. 8, 1972, in Canton, he was a son of Evelyn E. Schlemmer of Carrollton and the late Robert E. Easterday.

He was a truck driver by trade.  He took a lot of enjoyment from riding his motorcycle and fishing.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son; his grandmother, Stella Gray; two brothers, Rob Easterday Jr. of Woodbridge, VA, and Matt (Angela) Easterday of Waynesburg; two sisters, Fran (Bill) Marker of Minerva and Shelly Easterday of Palo Alto, CA; a very special friend, Laurie Van Fossen and family of Sherrodsville and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Thursday June 11 at 4 p.m. in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Ron Silver officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Joseph's family.
