Paul Dangelo, 85, of Carrollton passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton.
Born Aug. 4, 1926, in Summitville, he was the son of the late Patsy and Angeline Dangelo.
He retired from Summitville Tile and Conrail. He was a life long member of St. John's Catholic Church in Summitville and a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; children, Donna Dangelo and Don (Lynn) Dangelo; stepchildren, Ken (Kay) Lewis, Kris Keyser and Kevin Lewis; granddaughter, Tara Willis; step grandchildren, Kendra, Kasey, Chad, Marc, and Christopher; two great grandchildren, Madison and Karissa and brothers, Ralph, John (Audrey), Pete (Allie) and Jim (Darlene) Dangelo.
He was preceded in death by two children, Linda Greco and David Dangelo; sisters, Ann and Helen Dangelo, and Dorothy DeMatteo; and brothers, Mike (Mary) Dangelo and Joe (Mary) Dangelo.
A funeral service will be held May 12 at 10 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church in Summitville.
Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
