Marjorie M. Manson

Marjorie M. Manson, 89, of Liberty St., Amsterdam, died in her home early Wednesday morning, March 30, 2011, following an extended illness.

Born April 30, 1921, in Shreveport, LA, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Beulah May White.

She was  a member of United Church of Amsterdam. 

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John (Ali) Manson of Gahanna; three daughters, Linda (Ron) Anderson of Springfield, Jan Primack and Karen Demetro, both of Canton; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Manson in 2005.

Private graveside services were held April 2 in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville.  Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Directors of Amsterdam handled arrangements.
