William H. (Bill) King
William H. (Bill) King, 83, of Carrollton passed away March 18, 2011, at Carroll Golden Age Retreat.
Born in Cadiz, he was a son of the late Russell M. King and Frances (Tippie) Cutshall. On July 29, 1947, he married Wilda Jean Hutton, who preceded him in death on March 10, 2011.
He was a Navy veteran and lifetime member of Carroll County Veteran's Club, where he served for several years as a board member and president. He retired in 1989 as transportation director of Carrollton Schools.
He is survived by a son, Gregory (Kathy) King of Carrollton; a daughter, Constance Butler of Beach City; two granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; a brother, Russell (Martha) King of Carrollton and several nieces and nephews.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Bill's memory to Carroll Golden Age Retreat, 2202 Kensington Rd., NE, Carrollton, OH 44615. |
