Marjorie May Shorb

Marjorie May Shorb, 95, of Malvern passed away Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Carroll Health Care Center, following a long illness.

Born July 19, 1915, in Malvern, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Augusta (Roher) Reed.

She was a member of First Christian Church of Malvern and a former member of the Pythian Sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Leanna M. (Alan) Weir of Waynesburg; granddaughter, Cynthia (Anthony) Leslie; and great-granddaughter, LeaEllen Leslie.

She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Shorb in 2008; a son, John Shorb in 2005; and a sister, Florence Ware in 2005.

Funeral services were held at First Christian Church of Malvern Feb. 7 with Mr. Mark Black officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Deckman-Bartley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Friends may register at website: www.bartleyfuneralhome.com.
