Neal A. Zollars
He will be forever missed and forever loved.

Neal A. Zollars, age 60, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010.

Born April 26,1949, he was a son of the late Harry (Jack) Zollars and Edith (Jones) Zollars.

Neal grew up in Kilgore, graduating from Carrollton High School in 1967.  He was a proud member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 94, retiring in 2008 after 40 years of dedicated service in the trade. At the time of his retirement, he was employed by The Kauffman Plumbing and Heating Company. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother to those he leaves behind to mourn his passing. His heart belonged to his sons and grandson, and he provided unwavering love, support and guidance to them.

He is survived by wife Sharon; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott Neal (Heather Barnhouse), Chad Richard (Lisa Preusser), and Drew Courtney (Athena Andreadis); former wife and mother of his children, Kathy Zollars; grandson, and light of his life, Cameron Scott Zollars; brother Richard (Diana) Zollars; sister Beth (Tom) Tonsky; many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends who will miss him.

Neal was preceded in death by his beloved parents.

Funeral services were held Feb. 1 at Kilgore United Methodist Church with Rev. Kimberly Arbaugh and Rev. James Porter officiating. Burial was in Kilgore United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of the following: Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank 350 Opportunity Parkway Akron, 44307-2234; Kilgore United Methodist Church 7176 Germano Road S E Carrollton, 44615; or Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties 2800 Leemont Ave N W Canton, 44709.
Schneeberger Funeral Home in Canton was in charge of arrangements.
