Flu clinic dates

FPS staff report

Officials at The Carroll County Health Department have scheduled the following H1N1 flu clinics.

H1N1 Flu shots will be available at the Days Inn (lower level conference room) at the following times:

 Dec. 3, 8-11 a.m., 1- 4 p.m.  5-7 p.m.

The clinic is available to 25 - 64 year olds with chronic medical conditions such as:

* Chronic  pulmonary (including asthma)
* Cardiovascular (not including high blood pressure)
* Renal (Kidney)
* Hepatic (Liver)
* Neurologic/Neuromuscular
* Hematologic (Blood)
* Metabolic Disorder (including diabetes)
*Immunosuppression (including immunosuppression caused by medications or by HIV)

H1N1 flu shots are available at The Carroll County Health Department for the groups listed below at the following times:
Dec. 8, 8 a.m.  - 3 p.m., Dec. 10, 8 - 11 a.m. and 1 - 7 p.m.
* Preschoolers age 3-5 years
* Caregivers of infants under the age of 6 months
* Persons age 18 years to 24 years
* First Responders
* Healthcare workers
* Pregnant women
* Infants age 6 - 35 months
* Second dose for infants immunized on Nov. 10, 12, and 13

Pre-registration is available at www.odh.ohio.gov.  Individuals should bring the printed form containing patient unique identification number with them to the clinic.

Updates will continue to be posted on the health department website at www.carroll-lhd.org  or one may call the Carroll County Health Department at 330-627-4866 for additional information.
