Dellroy Council scheduled the annual year end meeting for Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. during the group’s monthly meeting Dec. 10.
Clerk Amy Graham told council the Personnel Committee met prior to the regular meeting and requested all council members review the notes she provided prior to the end of the year meeting.
The Personnel Committee met regarding the hiring and paying deputies of the Marshal’s Department and the guidelines being developed by the Personnel Committee.
A decision from council is expected at the end of the year meeting.
Mayor Doug Ruby told council estimates are being gathered for tree removal. Council discussed what would be done with the wood from trees the village owns and then pays to have cut down.
Graham noted the latest decision made by council was to accept bids for the wood. Councilman Don Williams said he feels the wood should first be offered to the property owner nearest the tree.
Solicitor Jason Jackson said it is not mandatory to advertise for bids for the sale of wood because it would not bring in excess of $1,000.
Since there is no wood available at this time, no action was taken.
