Grand illusion becomes real life for CHS seniors who reign over prom

Carrollton High School prom King and QueenKylee Mayhowski and Byron Carper (pictured) reigned as the queen and king of Carrollton High School’s 2013 junior-senior prom held Saturday evening in the Bell-Herron Middle school gymnasium.

Sponsored by the junior class, theme of this year’s dress up event was The Grand Illusion and featured an evening of dinner and dancing.

Reigning as the Prince and Princess were Kurt Davis and Missy Mercer, both juniors.

Members of the court were Taylor Eddy escorted by Byron Carper, Liza Kirk escorted by Landon Grogg, Queen Kylee escorted by Joe Grubbs, Rebekah Rainsberg escorted by Caleb Hartong and Jordan Schlabach escorted by Tim Silver.

Miss Maykowski’s parents are Edward and Kelley Maykowski of 202 W. Main St., Scio, and Carper is a son of James Carper of 211 Bark Rd., Dellroy.
Davis is a son of Kevin and Wendy Davis of 1114 Montero Rd., Carrollton, and Miss Mercer is a daughter of Susan Williams of 2202 Mayham Rd., Carrollton.
