Summer vacation is wrapping up this week for students in most area school districts.

Most area districts have scheduled the opening of classes for next week.
Carrollton Exempted Village School District has scheduled an open house Aug. 21 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in all buildings with the first day set for Aug. 22.

Following are listings of the starting dates for local and area schools:
Buckeye Career Center – Aug. 20 for juniors; Aug. 21 for seniors
Brown Local schools at Malvern - Aug. 22
Minerva Local Schools – Aug. 21
Carroll Hills School - Aug. 22
Carroll County Christian Academy – Aug. 27
Conotton Valley Union Local School – Aug. 22
Sandy Valley Schools – Aug. 21
Southern Local Schools – Aug. 27
Edison Local Schools – Aug. 21
