DLH Industries, Inc., was recently awarded the General Motors 2007 Supplier of the Year award for its significant contributions to GM's global product and performance achievements.

The 16th annual award - themed the "Best of the Best" - was awarded during ceremonies April 26 at the Sawgrass Marriott Hotel in Jacksonville, FL.

"GM is proud to honor DLH Industries as a GM Supplier of the Year winner," said Bo Anderson, GM group vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. "This award is our way of telling the winners we appreciate all their efforts in working together with GM to manufacture world-class vehicles. DLH is among the best of the best. They understand our mutual success can only be achieved by sharing common goals and priorities."

DLH President and COO John Saxon was on hand to accept the award. "We are truly honored to have been selected to receive this prestigious award. The dedication and commitment to excellence of DLH's employees shows in our products and service and we are very pleased GM has recognized us for our efforts," he said.

The GM Supplier of the Year award began as a global program in 1992. Winners are selected by a global team of executives from purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and logistics who base their decisions on supplier performance in quality, service, technology and price. This year, GM honored 92 suppliers for their outstanding performance during 2007.

DLH Industries, Inc., is a supplier of air and fluid handling assemblies to the automotive market, specializing in washer system tubing, sunroof drains, power train and air suspension lines. DLH employs more than 400 in its operations in Carrollton, Canton and East Canton. DLH was also the recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Business Award from the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce.
