| NEED A RIDE? Jim Strawder, owner of Jim’s Taxi Service, is prepared to open the door on his taxi vehicle for riders in Carroll and the five adjacent counties. |
A Carrollton man is fulfilling a dream with his new business venture.
Jim Strawder, a lifelong resident of Carroll County, says he always wanted to have his own taxi service and recently started Jim’s Taxi Service.
“It’s been a dream of mine for a long time,” he said, “and now I have the opportunity to do it. I feel there is a need for taxi service in the evenings and on the weekends, when the public transit is not in operation. Also, some people would rather travel in a vehicle than in a bus.”
Strawder is offering taxi service to residents in Carroll and the five adjacent counties for a flat rate fee plus mileage. He is available seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and after hours if prior arrangements are made.
For details on the service or to arrange for service, contact Strawder at 330-205-4226. |
