The popular market basket giveaway promotion is returning to the Carrollton Farmers Market.

On May 23, every time a shopper makes a purchase at the Carrollton Farmers Market, they will be entered in a drawing to win a free bushel basket full of items offered for sale at the market. One lucky winner will go home with farm fresh eggs, home baked bread, asparagus, jelly, homemade gourmet candy, apples, flowers, plants, and more.

The Carrollton Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Ponderosa Restaurant on Canton Rd. in Carrollton. All items offered for sale at the Carrollton Farmers Market are grown or made by families in Carroll and surrounding counties.

Starting July 28, the Carrollton Farmers Market will be open on Tuesday afternoons from 4 to 7 p.m. in the same location.
