The Carroll County Parks District is the proud owner of a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado truck.

Chesapeake Energy donated the three quarter ton pick-up Jan. 24.  Keith Fuller, director of corporate development stated, “Chesapeake Energy is pleased to be able to provide a Chevy Silverado to the Carroll County Park District.  Full story

The Carroll County Historical Society is hosting a Pork & Sauerkraut Supper Feb. 18 from 3:30-6 p.m.

The all-you-can-eat dinner will feature local pork and the Society’s famous homemade sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, bread, applesauce, cake and a beverage. Dine in or carryout is available. Full story
