Hi kids! I bet many of you already know what we celebrate the month of June….that's right, Father's Day! I hope you have something fun planned for him! When I read through this book, I noticed these kids did a lot of different things with their dads. I bet many of you do, too.
I was thinking, even if you are not able to get your dad anything or go any where, just spending time with him will be special. And you know what, whatever you do will make his day!
Also, before I forget, I want to remind you of summer reading program going on at our library. This year it is called “Catch the Reading Bug.” It sure sounds like fun to me! Here are the names of the four groups: Mimi-Mites, Creepy Crawly Caterpillars, Wailing Water Bugs and Droolin' Dragon Flies. Now tell me, which group do you think you fall under?
Until next time, share a special day with your dad!
Your friend,
Sherry
