Concert in Bayard to benefit Anthony Smart Memorial Fund

A benefit concert is planned the Anthony "Ant" Smart Memorial Fund.

The concert will be held March 1 at 6 p.m. at Bayard Grange outside Minerva.  Door open at 5:30 p.m.  Admittance is $5 at the door and food and drinks will be available for an additional charge.

Performing on stage will be Catch The Memo, a contemporary worship band; Super Sheep, a rock/Christian band; Absolve Thine Enemies, a hard core rock band; and Call Me Emergency, an art rock band.  Each band will perform for approximately an hour and DJ Justin D. will entertain the crowd between sets.

Anthony "Ant" Smart, 9, of Sherrodsville was killed Dec. 17, 2007, when he was hit by a car on SR 39 near Dellroy.  Smart, a fourth grade student at Dellroy Elementary, was the son of Randy Smart.
