Carroll County Chorale members.

Tickets are now available for the Carroll County Chorale's Cabaret concert to be presented Friday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church Hall on Carrollton St. in Malvern.

Tickets may be purchased from Chorale members, the Arts Center on W. Main St. in Carrollton or at Gordon's in Malvern. Ticket prices are $6 for members of the Carroll County Commission for Advancement of the Arts and $8 for non-members. Pop, pretzels and potato chips are included in the admission price. Concert goers may take their own "goodies" if they like. Door prizes will also be awarded.

The concert will include several selections by the Carroll County Chorale under the direction of George Payne with Judy Capper as piano accompanist. The music ranges from "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair, an Appalachian folk song, to movie music and patriotic selections.
Special guests will be John  Schaffer and Cassie Lewis, Javan Shields and St. Timothy's Episcopal choir directed by George Cazan and accompanied by Cheryl Bower.

St. Timothy's choir reportedly is an outstanding choir which for years has been known as the best small church choir in Ohio. All members are volunteer and perform not only at church services but offer concerts in the community as well.

St. Timothy's Episcopal Church was founded in 1836 in Massillon and is one of the earliest congregations in the area.
