Christmas trees on display at Arts Center, Atwood Lodge

FPS staff report

Fifteen decorated Christmas trees are on display at the Carroll County Arts Center and Atwood Lodge. 

Fourteen trees are available for bidding in a silent auction that continues until the end of the Holiday Tour of Homes Dec. 6 at 5 p.m.   Bidding for the silent auction trees begins at $65 and increases in increments of $10. One tree decorated with hand made angel ornaments will be raffled off with tickets  $1 for one and six for $5.  Raffle tickets are available at Gordon’s in Malvern, Paperworks and the Arts Center in Carrollton.

Trees at the Arts Center were decorated by Buckeye Career Center’s Floriculture/ FFA and the Teaching Profession classes, Drs. Berg, Birong and Chamblee, Mercy Medical Center, Ashton’s Holiday Shoppe, and Carrollton High French Club.

Trees at Atwood Lodge were decorated by Cedar Outdoor Furniture, Deckman Bartley Funeral Home, Fusion Ceramics, Consumers National Bank, Aultman Carrollton Therapy and Fitness, Carrollton Business Women, McFaddens Insurance Agency, and LeBeau Geo-thermal and Construction. Contact  Atwood Lodge at 330-735-2211 for hours of operation.

Proceeds from the Christmas Tree Extravaganza auction and raffle support Arts Center programming throughout the year. 

Hours at the Arts Center are 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
