Bowerston club teams up with Goodwill

By Jacquie Humphrey
FPS Correspondent

For this year’s annual style show the Bowerston Women’s Club is teaming up with Goodwill Industries. Goodwill will provide clothing to be modeled by both Women’s Club members and selected students at Conotton Valley junior and senior high.

The event will be held May 14 in the Bowerston Community Park building and will begin at 6:30 p.m.  A salad buffet will be served and door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. Proceeds from the salad buffet go toward scholarships awarded to Conotton Valley seniors each May.

Tickets are $7 each and may be obtained from any Women’s Club member, at the Bowerston Public Library, or by contacting Vice President Renee Beem at 740-269-6775.

The Bowerston Women’s Club meets the first Tuesday of each month except during the summer months.  New members are welcome.  Anyone interested in joining, should contact a current member.
