Carrollton FFA selling iconic ‘God made a Farmer’ t-shirts, hoodies

FPS staff report

According to the late Paul Harvey, “And on the 8th day, God looked down on his planned paradise and said, ‘I need a caretaker’ so God made a Farmer.”

The Carrollton Future Farmers of America (FFA) along with The Ohio State University Chapter of Delta Theta Sigma (DTS) Alpha Chapter are selling “And So God Made A Farmer” apparel.

Carrollton High School (CHS) graduates and DTS fraternity members Austin Kirk and Michael Moore presented the idea to Kelli Pridemore, CHS vocational agricultural teacher, as a fundraiser to benefit both organizations.

T-shirts and hoodies are available in pink or charcoal with the “farmer” picture and the DTS fraternity logo.  Youth t-shirts are $15 and available in x-small to large and hoodies from small to large for $25.

Adult t-shirts are available in small to x-large for $20 and 2XL-5XL.  Extra large sizes have an additional charge of $2 for 2XL; $3, 3XL; $4, 4XL; and $5, 5XL.  Adult hoodies are available in small to x-large for $35. Larger sizes are offered from 2XL to 6XL with the additional cost of $2, 2XL; $3, 3XL, $4, 4XL, and $5 for 5XL and 6XL.

Orders are due to Carrollton FFA by March 31.  Checks should be made payable to Carrollton FFA Alumni.

For more information or to place an order, contact the Carrollton High School Ag room at 330-627-8442.
